Your Dog's Home Away From Home
Originally from Milton Keynes and Oxford, Dan and Angela moved to Newquay, Cornwall in August 2024, and are so happy to have found their home in this awesome town. They have had their two rescue doggie babies for nearly 5 years now and their love for their pooches holds no bounds! They are truly part of the family. Angela's dream is to have CopperDog Sanctuary - a retirement home for all the old, sick and unwanted pooches of the world - but until that dream becomes reality, looking after other peoples furry friends is the next best thing!

Meet Dan and Angela
Meet Copper and Charlie
Copper was found wondering alone in a village in Portugal, with a harness on, when he was around 5 years old. He was taken in by a local rescue centre where he sadly stayed in his tiny kennel for a massive 6 years. No one wanted him due to his old age and his white face - which for some bonkers reason some people believe to be bad luck. We saw a picture of him when going through Charlies adoption and fell in love at first sight. He arrived 1 month after Charlie to live out a very happy retirement with us. He gets younger every day, just LOVES human company and melts hearts wherever he goes. He is our boy.
Charlie was rescued from a camp site in Portugal, where he was found with a fractured skull, a broken leg and malnourished, at around 3 years old. He was taken in by a kind fosterer in Portugal who - fortuitously for us - was a friend of a friend. As soon as he was fit and ready to travel, the Chopz arrived with us, then in Exmouth, and now spends his days snoozing on the sofa, zooming around beaches and having much loved tummy rubs. The Chopz is a proper cheeky chappy, a little softie who will do anything for a snack and has many adoring fans. Including us.
